Have been busy working on my 'hearts in blue' getting the cream border embroidered and it is now ready for the final navy border, then I'll take a photo and post it here.
Last year I taught the stained glass stack and slash at my craft group. As usual I still have to finish mine, it's ready for quilting but I'm still tossing whether to add borders to each side and make it into a tablecloth for the back patio. I just love the colours in the top.
This is a close up of a block, it really is so easy to do.
I've also made a stable bag in the last week. The pattern was a bit expensive $22 and I found the instructions weren't crystal clear but I muddled through and I'm thrilled with the results.

Aren't the stable bags great? I made mine in Japanese fabric about 18 months ago and I have just about worn it out. My boss wanted me to make her one but I have managed to avoid her so far. Yours looks wonderful, and you are right, it holds heaps and everything is so easy to find.
Cheers

Lynette - what a fabulous bag!! Love your colour choices as well - can you tell me please where you found the pattern - $22 is quite expensive, but just think of what you would pay if you bought this at retail, even at a market!! Well done indeed. Also don't need to tell you how divine your latest grand-daughter is!! I have a grandson, and hope for a daughter one day.
I meant grand-daughter (already have the daughter), but I guess you figured that out, and I forgot to sign off!! We have just been hit by a huge storm, so I had best be off.

I just love my bag which I made about 2 years ago. You are right you can open it up and see everything at a glance and I love the pockets in side.
Love your colours.
